    DESCRIPTION
    The online MSA offers an unsurpassed blend of quality, flexibility and convenience. Students receive the same attention from our exceptional faculty as one would find in the traditional classroom.

    The MSA program at The University of West Florida prepares its graduates to respond effectively and efficiently to the challenges facing today抯 professional leaders. The Master of Science in Administration requires a core curriculum (12 hours) that provides a solid foundation in areas such as organizational behavior, marketing, finance, E-Business, and economics. This firm foundation is then extended into specific specializations.
    The MSA program offers five areas of specialization (21 hours each).

    � Healthcare Administration
    � Human Performance Technology

    SPECIAL ENROLLMENT ISSUES
    Criminal Justice Administration requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution in a related field, submission of GRE scores prior to admission, a letter of intent and three letters of reference including one from an employer and one from a former college professor.

    TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
    UWF has designed our online courses so that students can fully access the course materials with a 56K dial-up Internet connection. At the same time, UWF courses include interactive materials to improve student learning and retention. For this reason we strongly recommend that students use a broadband (DSL or cable) Internet connection. With high speed Internet access you will have more time to devote to your studies and spend less time waiting for a file to open or download. Most services, including course offerings, are available online from any web-enabled computer. LightHouse: LightHouse is your gateway to the many student services at UWF, and is available to you as soon as you apply to the University. ArgoNet: ArgoNet is your unique UWF identification for services such as e-mail, Internet connectivity via University dial-up lines, centralized file storage, web page hosting, the Argus web portal, and your eLearning courses. Argus: Argus is our secure web portal where you will access not only your personal and enrollment information, but also your eLearning courses, student news and events. NAUTILUS Card: This is your UWF identification card needed for library access and which also can be used for student discounts and as photo identification. John C. Pace Library: As a UWF student, you will have access to our library's many resources as well as access to 14.000 titles on netLibrary. The library can be reached at 850-474-2462, via email and online. OWL: Online Writing Lab is available to assist online students with paper and term paper readings. The request link is located within the eLearning system. Bookstore: Textbooks, supplies and UWF merchandise are all available online through our Bookstore.     ACCESS TO FINANCIAL AID RESOURCES
    Fee Waiver Availability. Waivers to cover the out-of-state portion of assessed tuition and fees are available for qualified students enrolled in this online program. Note: Waivers must be requested and eligibility confirmed every semester � renewal of waivers is NOT automatic. For more information or to apply for the waiver, visit the Online Campus website. Students may also be eligible for financial aid. The Financial Aid Office (FAO) is located in Building 18. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CST, Monday - Friday. The telephone number is (850) 474-2400. The purpose of the Financial Aid Office is to help eligible students meet educational costs while attending UWF. Understanding the financial aid process is critical. You probably have many questions about what you can expect and what is expected of you.
