The program builds on baccalaureate competencies and focuses on advanced practice roles. The master's program curriculum is logically organized and internally consistent and reflects the Mission of the College to provide excellence in nursing education, advance the profession through research and contribute to society through practice and service. The purpose of the master's program is to prepare graduates for careers in advanced nursing practice and leadership roles. The program builds on the generalist preparation at the baccalaureate level and prepares the graduate as outlined in the program objectives and the core competencies for advance practice nursing.
