engineering distance learning system at USF.
ACCESS TO LEARNING RESOURCES
- Distance students must have a computer with WMP 10 and a high
speed internet connection. Students enrolled in on line courses at
USF must have an active USF e-mail account, a USF NetID, and
reliable Internet access. You may check whether or not your browser
is compatible with the software used for distance education at the
distance education web site
ACCESS TO FINANCIAL AID RESOURCES
- APEX at USF streams classes live over the internet and then
archives the files online allowing for convenient, on-demand
viewing. Students must be accepted into the University to
participate in the APEX distance program. Distance students must
obtain a USF ID to access all online communities and features of
USF. A NetID, available to enrolled USF students allows students to
access learning resources online, including the USF Library. For

ACCESS TO ADVISING/MENTORING SERVICES
- Effective Fall 05. The Electrical Engineering Department will no
longer require the EE Comprehensive Exam as a graduation requirement
for the course work only option. Instead, there will be a "capstone"
design course requirement of the student's choice from a design
course list provided by the EE Graduate Program.
