SPECIAL ENROLLMENT ISSUES
- The Internet MBA Program is designed for individuals who are
unable to come to Gainesville on a regular basis due to distance,
work commitments, or financial constraints. The Internet MBA program
lasts 27 months (48 credits) and meets for a weekend (Saturday and
Sunday) at the end of each four-month term. During campus visits,
students take final exams and get an introduction to their courses
for the next term.
Between campus visits students work through the curriculum
electronically, using Internet-based technologies to view lectures;
participate in group projects, case studies, and discussions;
complete quizzes and assignments; etc.
A 16-month version is also available for students with an
undergraduate degree in business completed within 7 years prior to
the start of the program. Both program options begin in
January/February each year, with about 40 students per incoming
ACCESS TO LEARNING RESOURCES
- Students will receive a pre-loaded, pre-configured notebook
computer at orientation. Internet access is required.
ACCESS TO FINANCIAL AID RESOURCES
- Distance students should first contact their program
administrator for academic advising. You may talk to a librarian by
telephone, email or by instant messaging. You can also call toll
free.(1-866-281-6309). Detailed information from all the libraries
can be found on the web site. The Health Science Center Library can
be reached at (352) 392-4011 or by visiting the website. Library
West- the Circulation/Reserve Desk can be reached at 352-392-0345
and online. Material and supply fees are assessed for certain
courses to offset the cost of materials or supply items consumed in
the course of instruction. Material and supply fee information is
available from the academic departments offering the course. To
obtain materials, you must contact the specific academic department
or college. They have the materials or will direct you to where you
need to go to purchase the materials. Books may be ordered online or
by calling the bookstore at 352-392-0194 or 800-226-3015.
- Federal Stafford loans are available, as well as private
financial aid loans through Executive MBA Loans, a program of the
Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). Please contact them
online or at 1-800-366-0603 to request an EMBA Loan application.

SPECIAL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

ACCESS TO ADVISING/MENTORING SERVICES
- In order to be certified for graduation, students must have
successfully completed all courses required for the Internet MBA
Program, achieved a minimum 3.00 grade point average (on a 4.00
scale) in these courses, and all program fees must be paid in full.
SPECIAL TRANSFER POLICIES
- Students in the Internet MBA Program will be able to communicate
with their instructors, classmates and Florida MBA Program staff
through Lotus Notes.
SPECIAL ENROLLMENT ISSUES
- The Florida MBA Programs does not traditionally allow transfer
of credits from another institutions for any degree program. Any
exceptions to this policy would be handled on a case-by-case basis.
SPECIAL ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

- Students are required to meet in Gainesville for Orientation and
once at the end of each 4-month term (7 terms) to take finals and
participate in case presentations.
