    DESCRIPTION
    A part-time post-baccalaureate external PharmD program designed to provide pharmacists with the necessary skills to assume leadership roles in providing pharmaceutical care. Clinical and administrative sciences are blended through experiential training to create practitioners who will demonstrate proficiency in disease management, program development and evaluation of patient outcomes.
    SPECIAL ENROLLMENT ISSUES
    Experiential training at approved sites is available throughout matriculation to ensure application of information presented during lectures. A written project must be submitted prior to graduation. The paper must be written in a format to be submitted for publication in a referenced pharmacy or medical journal.
    Applicants must have graduated with a B.S. degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE accredited institution and hold a valid U.S. pharmacist license.
    TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
    Students are required to meet on the second and fourth Saturday of every month in one of three locations: Tallahassee, Tampa or Miami. Students must have access to a computer with Internet access and CD-ROM.

    Students enrolled in the ExDoc program will have access to: Florida A&M University libraries, Florida Distance Learning Library Initiative, and Public libraries throughout the state of Florida.
    ACCESS TO FINANCIAL AID RESOURCES
    Applications for the Distinguished Scholars Award, Life-Gets-Better Scholarship and the Community College Scholarship Award may be obtained from the Office of Presidential Scholars.
