Admissions policies and procedures LECOM seeks students who will excel in academics, clinical care, research and community service. Successful candidates have GPAs of 3.3 or higher and MCATs of 24 or higher. LECOM requires a D.O. recommendation showing the applicant has awareness of osteopathic medicine. Working with a physician prepares students for the required interview. LECOM sets no limits on out-of-state resident admissions.
