Accredited by AACSB International, the Kelley MBA program at Indiana University reflects a new direction in graduate management education. With a long history of success dating back to the school’s founding in 1920, Kelley's MBA program continues to focus on the needs of future managers as they prepare to enter the rapidly changing business world. The successful Kelley MBA graduate should be knowledgeable across a variety of disciplines. A student’s education must therefore encompass basic business disciplines and provide a thorough grounding in the functional areas of management. The Kelley core curriculum prepares students to deal with key business decisions as they are presented in the business world. Following the core, students are provided the opportunity to tailor the program to satisfy their own diverse professional objectives. Major areas of study include entrepreneurship & corporate innovation, finance, management (including consulting, international business, and strategic management), marketing, operations and systems management (including decision support modeling, information systems, and operations), and strategic analysis of accounting information. Students benefit from our emphasis on leadership skills and from the assessments and programs offered by Kelley’s Leadership Development Institute. The Kelley MBA experience is further enhanced by opportunities for membership in an industry-focused Academy. The Kelley MBA program features several study abroad options, foreign language tutoring and instruction, and integrated exposure to international issues.
