Basic Drawing: Examined the fundamentals of seeing
line and value through studies of nature, still-life
arrangements, the human figure, and concepts of
perspective. Various media were used including ink,
charcoal, and graphite.
Two Dimensional Drawing: An intensive
investigation of such essential principles as form, line,
space, color, balance, and unity in two-dimensional design.
Projects were assigned in sequence leading to special visual
solutions. Various media were used.
Computer Art (2D) Freehand 8: An introduction to
the use of the computer as an art and design tool.
Emphasized fundamental color computer graphics skills
through practical experience with two-dimensional paint and
draw programs currently used by art and design
professionals. The hardware used includes Macintosh
computers, scanners, black and white and color printers.
Touched on the use of Adobe PhotoShop but will be taught in
great detail in Digital Imaging in fall semester.
Introduction to TV Production: Basic operation and
theory of TV production. Hands-on training in studio with
equipment including camera, switcher, audio console,
character generator, prompter, video recorder and lighting.
Submitted final project that involves producing, writing,
and directing a short production of a minute.
Intro to Multimedia: Multimedia theory,
storyboarding and production. |
