I was excited to finally read the published version of your article when it appeared in the May 23rd edition of Recess. I would like to take you up on your kind offer for some career guidance now that I have graduated and officially received my certification. In May, I was awarded my M.Ed. with high honors from the five-year Children's Education Program at UCSD. I have just received notification of my state certification this week and have begun to look for work as a special education teacher in a California public elementary school. You mentioned that you usually hear about a few openings in Southern California this time of year.
