Online Master of Sports Science Degree in Sports Studies
Master of Sports Science in Sports Studies
A student interested in attaining a degree in Sports Studies may enter
the program from a variety of backgrounds. Undergraduate degrees in
physical education, health, human relations, business administration,
sports medicine, physical therapy, and marketing would be excellent
backgrounds as well as a variety of others. The courses in the Sports
Studies program are selected in accordance with the student's interest.
For example a student may select courses from the Department of Sports
Management and some from the Department of Sport Coaching. However,
selections can be made from any of the Academy's departments. The
master's curriculum in sports studies is 33 semester hours and can be
completed entirely online with the exception of coming on campus to take
the comprehensive examinations that are held in conjunction with the
Academy's graduation celebration. |
