Seton Hall University
Master of Healthcare Administration
The online Master of Healthcare Administration program, administered
through Seton Hall University's Department of Public and Healthcare
Administration and SetonWorldWide, is a 39-credit hour program that is
completed in learning teams over 23 consecutive months.
Its objective is to prepare managers for leadership roles in the
healthcare industry and to provide an intensive, high-quality,
graduate-level experience. The online M.H.A. program is delivered
primarily through Internet-based courses, taught by nationally
recognized scholars and practitioners, from a curriculum comprised of
six major competency areas: Understanding the Environment, Managing
Change, Financial Competencies, Decision-Making, Strategic Leadership
and Analysis.
Students are only required to participate with their learning team in
three campus weekend residencies: orientation, mid-degree (approximately
one year later) and final/graduation.
Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Leadership
The Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Leadership (MASCL)
program is a rigorous, 36-credit, 18-month, very practical "learn it and
apply it" program designed to meet the needs of busy professionals.
Students progress through the program as a learning team, comprised of
professionals from various industries in corporate, military, and
non-profit organizations. Extensive interaction between learning team
members, highly-credentialed faculty, and guest experts from across the
country, and writing and speech coaches ensures that each MASCL student
will graduate with significantly enhanced communication and leadership
skills and a personal strategy for continued success.
Three weekend-long residencies are required: at the beginning, middle,
and end of the MASCL program. The residencies provide students with
opportunities for team building and for practicing their leadership and
communication skills. |
