Online Master of Science Degree
in Nursing - Integrative Health
Master of Science in Nursing - Integrative Health
The Master of Science in Nursing/Integrative Health program (MSN/IH)
enhances the knowledge and skills of registered nurses with
baccalaureate-degree preparation. The program prepares advanced practice
nurses to function in leadership roles in practice and educational
settings. Advanced nursing theory and research provide the foundation
for nurses to influence the future of nursing and health care.
This course series focuses on integrative health care, a synthesis or
blend of conventional care with alternative and complementary healing
therapies. Those with little or some knowledge in the field can learn
more about the background and current status of integrative care, as
well as health policy, legal, regulatory, and ethical issues. An
overview of commonly used alternative and complementary healing
therapies provides a strong foundation for continued learning.
Participants develop a proposal for an integrative health care project
or course, based on their current or future work setting. |
