DESCRIPTION
- Through QUEST, the Department of Electrical Engineering now
offers an opportunity for students to pursue a master抯 degree in
Electrical Engineering without an on-campus residency requirement.
To broaden the student抯 background, all are required to take courses
in at least two areas of electrical engineering and in mathematics.
All students also are required to complete a thesis.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree, 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. The purpose of QUEST
is to make quality, up-to-date education available in a flexible,
convenient manner. Students choosing the program may enroll in a
variety of courses in engineering, computer science, education,
business, nursing, and human environmental sciences. Other
disciplines are added as studios are opened. QUEST brings you
undergraduate and graduate courses taught before a live on-campus
audience and recorded on videotape. The tapes are sent the next
working day to your place of employment or a conveniently located
open site. You complete the same course requirements and take the
same examinations as on-campus students. For a current QUEST course

financial aid information is available on the web site. The Graduate
School Internet Link to Graduate Student Financial Opportunities is
a file of graduate fellowships and jobs compiled to provide help in
locating graduate fellowships, research opportunities, grants,
independent project funding and other sources of funding for
graduate students. Academic Common Market/Electronic Campus status
has been extended to distance learning programs. Students accepted
into the program from those states will pay the in-state tuition
rate. Prospective students should contact their state's common
