Offered entirely via the Internet, this Risk Management/Insurance master's program--with a concentration in either Property & Liability Insurance or Financial Services--is designed for working professionals who wish to study part-time in order to advance and enhance their careers. All 11 courses which comprise the program can be completed in 24 months and taken from anywhere in the world. Quality and convenience are paramount.

To be successful in your online class, you must have:
Regular access to a computer
An Internet connection (ISP or Internet Service Provider)
An Internet browser
An FSU/ACNS computer account, which includes your login/username, password, and email account

If you plan to use computer equipment that you do not own for participation in the program, be certain that you have permission to use the equipment for course work purposes. You must also be sure that you have permission to save data to the local hard drive.

Online students at FSU can find support for every aspect of the University experience. Currently enrolled students who are located 50 miles or more from Tallahassee can request materials to be sent to them. Some of your online courses may require you to purchase a Course Packet, which could include a study guide, textbooks, and/or media (video, audiotapes, CD-ROMs). Information about what, if any, course materials are required for your courses can be found through: Campus bookstores (FSU Bookstore and Bill抯 Bookstore), Departmental web sites, Course instructors, Academic Coordinators. Course materials can be ordered online and will be shipped directly to you. (You pay the cost of the course materials, plus shipping. The FSU bookstore can be reached at 1-800-255-3781. A mentor or teaching assistant is available online (and often by phone) to help clarify course materials and refer you to resources for all other aspects of the university experience. Distance students enrolled in at least 6 semester hours have access to many of the same types of financial aid as residential students. SPECIAL PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

1. Undergraduate academic record to include grades and the trend and direction of grade performance.
2. GMAT exam score.
3. TOEFL exam score for international applicants whose native language is not English, regardless of academic background.
4. Recommendation by your supervisor, which should speak specifically to your ability to successfully complete the program and provide an accurate assessment of your executive and leadership potential.

We can accept up to six (6) hours from an accredited University, provided they are no more than seven (7) years old and you received a grade of 'B' or higher. If courses are previously counted toward a degree, courses cannot be transferred. Professional designation courses do not transfer for credit.
