DESCRIPTION
- The Professional Aeronautics degree program is designed
specifically for students who work, have worked, or desire to work
in aviation related careers. For students with existing aviation
related knowledge and skills, the program recognizes those skills
through award of advanced standing prior-learning credit. The
curriculum then builds upon those skills. The program also provides
a path for those students new to aviation to acquire these skills
through aviation related courses.
SPECIAL ENROLLMENT ISSUES
- Undergraduate semesters are 12 weeks in length. Terms begin the
15th of every month excluding December. The deadline to register is
the 1st of the month that the course is being taken. For example: If
a term starts September 15th, the deadline to register is September
1st.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum PC hardware requirements include:
Pentium Processor or equivalent
256 MB Ram
CD-ROM Drive
56 K modem recommended- Minimum
Students will need access to the Internet and a browser such as
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 (or later)
Microsoft Office 2000 or higher
ACCESS TO LEARNING RESOURCES
- The Hunt Library is the primary information, reference, and
resource provider for all of Embry-Riddle抯 Worldwide students, staff
and faculty. The Hunt Library provides 24/7 online access to the
online catalog, Voyager and to its many databases and web resources.
For research questions, a librarian will help develop successful
search strategies using a combination of locally held resources and
our Web-based online catalog and electronic resources. Reference

Students interact with their instructors and other students
throughout the term via private email, the electronic bulletin
board, or by phone. The instructors provide timely feedback on
assignments, examinations, readings, and any questions a student may
have regarding their courses.

ACCESS TO FINANCIAL AID RESOURCES
- Federal Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Student Loans and
Federal PELL Grants are available for eligible degree-seeking online
learning students. Students may contact the Financial Aid Office at

Aid is generally not available to non-degree seeking students.
