DESCRIPTION
- The Associate of General Studies Degree is particularly well
suited for students who have acquired a number of college credits
and are needing or wanting a degree. While it is expected that most
of the 30 semester hours of core courses will transfer, the
transferability of the 33 elective hours in the program will depend
on careful coordination by the student with the transfer
institution. The degree can be structured like an Associate of Arts
degree for almost complete transfer, or may be designed with a
business or technical career focus. The degree can be structured to
meet the unique educational needs of the student. Students need not
have acquired previous college credit to enter this program.
Transfer students need to refer to that section of this Catalog.
This degree may be completed on-campus or entirely on the Internet.
SPECIAL ENROLLMENT ISSUES
- Examinations in some courses require the use of a proctor. The
student and the instructor agree upon a proctor, location and time.
