Online Master of Science (MS) Degree in Psychology - Educational
Psychology
Our online master's degree in psychology allows you to further
develop your socialization into the field of psychology through
foundational courses and interaction with faculty who are accomplished
professionals in their field.
Through this rigorous online curriculum you will gain an understanding
of counseling theory and the development of psychological testing
skills. While some master's degree graduates may pursue licensure as
psychology assistants or technicians, this specialization does not
prepare graduates for licensure as an independent, professional
counselor or psychologist. Capella University offers a PsyD
specialization in counseling psychology that complements this master's
degree.
Residency Requirements: Three week-long master's degree colloquia, each
taken during specific milestones in your program.
Note: Master's degree requirements in this program do not prepare
graduates for licensure as counseling psychologists.
