Our master's degree specializations are designed to increase your professional depth and effectiveness in diverse educational, corporate, traditional, and online settings.

The advanced classroom instruction specialization offers you the opportunity to incubate, share, and test ideas for your classroom in collaboration with experienced faculty and motivated teachers from throughout the nation. The curriculum is aligned with nationally recognized teaching standards, including the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS), and is designed to prepare learners to produce significant improvements in student achievement.

Portfolio/Practicum
Each program includes an initial assessment of your strengths in 14 key competencies. Throughout the program you will practice and demonstrate mastery of these competencies. Each course's outcomes are captured in a program portfolio that tangibly demonstrates the new skills you have mastered. In your final course, you will complete a specialized teacher's practicum that further validates your status as an exceptional educator.
