Additional information:

• High school seniors and graduates, as well as current undergraduate or graduate students eligible
• Must be dependent child or spouse of deceased public employees who have died in the line of duty
• Awards available in following categories: fire and rescue, law enforcement, and general public employees
• Work experience, goals and aspirations, and unusual personal or family circumstances also factored into selection
• Applications must be postmarked no later than March 31 each year
• Award amount varies; maximum is $10,000 (tuition and fees only)
