Additional information:

• Must be child, spouse, or financial dependent of persons who died or became severely and permanently disabled due to the September 11th attacks or rescue and recovery operation
• At public colleges and universities (CUNY or SUNY), award covers actual tuition and mandatory educational fees; actual room and board for living on campus (or an allowance for commuters); and allowances for books, supplies, and transportation
• At private institutions, award amount equals SUNY four-year college tuition and fees and allowances for room and board, books, supplies, and transportation
• New York State resident family members who were enrolled in undergraduate programs at U.S
• colleges or universities outside of New York State on September 11, 2001, are also eligible
