Federal PIN Number
Federal PIN Number for PLUS Loans
Several of the PLUS Loan lenders we list on this web site allow
parent borrowers to electronically sign their loan applications by
using their Federal PIN number. The Federal PIN number is the same
PIN used when completing the on-line FAFSA. Be sure to use the
parent borrower's PIN and not the student's PIN when signing the
PLUS application.
If you did not complete an on-line FAFSA and wish to obtain a
Federal PIN, you may apply on-line. If you have misplaced your
Federal PIN you may request a duplicate PIN at this same web site.
