The University of Washington MBA program is among the most adaptable to
individual career objectives. With an exceptionally diverse set of students,
a small class size and a wide selection of courses available in a large
business school and very large university, we deliver a customized MBA
experience for each student. Our faculty-to-student ratio and career
coach-to-student ratio are among the best, permitting us to build a unique
course of study and job search around each student, rather than providing
the typical selection of 7-10 areas of focus. Our list of employers is among
the most diverse of any school. A student can pursue our special programs in
global business or entrepreneurship, tap world class faculty in finance,
marketing, accounting, information systems, and management, or pursue
courses in other prominent University of Washington programs in healthcare,
public affairs, international studies, global logistics and other fields.
This flexible, tailored structure is the primary reason for our exceptional
success in job placement. A host of iconic companies have been spawned by
our region’s independent culture, entrepreneurial attitude, international
diversity, and spectacular geography. A global focus and a passion to be
part of something new and different is a shared characteristic in this
region’s business community and certainly this business school. These
attributes are reflected in our graduates who remain in the Pacific
Northwest as well as graduates who carry these qualities to other places.
