At Tippie, we believe a world-class MBA improves students'
professional and personal lives - intellectually, practically, and
ethically. We offer an integrated program of high-quality academics,
experiential business learning, and professional development. You
work hard, but also see a high rate of return on your investment -
on average, our graduates more than double their pre-MBA salary in
their first post-MBA job. Our core curriculum builds a solid
business foundation emphasizing teamwork both inside and outside
class starting from your first day on campus. Our MBA Competitive
Prep course has one goal - to give you the edge you need to stand
out as you pursue your professional goals. In addition, you work
with our MBA Career Services team one-on-one, and interact with
guest speakers who are leaders in their industries. Through the
Tippie Leadership series, you immerse yourself in professional
development modules to build leadership abilities. You can also get
involved with our student organizations and take on leadership
roles. After you master the fundamentals of business, you choose an
area of concentration. You develop and refine your professional
portfolio - not just through electives, but also through hands-on
consulting projects, international experiences, student
organizations, and leadership roles. Your portfolio helps you
capture the attention of prospective employers - and land the job
you want. Throughout the program, you build and then refine a
framework for successful business strategy. You practice analytic
thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork that will help you gain the
big-picture view that's critical to success in a constantly changing
business world. Your final semester begins with a complex business
simulation that heightens your skills in operational strategy.
