Students from around the world come to the Carlson School of

participate in internships, enterprises, and other experiential
learning opportunities.
The Carlson School combines rigorous academic study with
unprecedented opportunities to gain relevant work experience in the
field of your choice. The Carlson School curriculum allows future
business leaders to tailor their education to meet specific
professional goals, while providing the core knowledge necessary to
adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing business climate. The
innovative Carlson School Enterprises allow students to grow and
manage for-profit businesses in consulting, venture capital,
investment management and brand development. In addition,
internships and student-run programs such as volunteer consulting
for non-profit companies provide opportunities to complement
classroom learning with real-world interaction. Students can select
from a variety of short-term and semester-long study abroad options
to internationalize their degree.
One of the nation’s top-ranked career services offices, the Graduate
Business Career Center assists students in preparing for interviews
through career counseling, job search workshops, job postings,
national job fairs, and coordination of internships and part-time
positions. In addition to on campus recruiting, the Graduate
Business Career Center invites MBA students on site visits to
national and international companies from coast to coast. In 2006
98% of our graduates were employed within three months of
graduation.
