BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
Analyze financial position by maintaining and enhancing current
forecasting models. Responsibilities include the following:
Analyzing the profitability of routes and providing support for
growth initiatives. Developing financial models to support labor
contract negotiations. Performing economic evaluations of projects
and investments to improve operational performance. Providing
economic framework for aircraft purchase and/or lease negotiations
and other financial issues. Creating financial models of potential
mergers and acquisitions and/or business relationships. Other
financial analysis of ad-hoc issues.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
MBA in Finance or Master's degree in other related quantitative
discipline
Proficiency in all MS Office applications, especially Excel and
Access
Advanced aptitude in problem solving, including the ability to
logically structure an appropriate analytical framework
Strong leadership skills and initiative
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Previous analytical experience and knowledge of airline economics
