36 semester hour AACSB-Accredited degree program designed to prepare
students for positions of responsibility and leadership in public
and private enterprise. The program accepts 50 students each year
and is viewed as a place where each student is assured of being a
full partner in the graduate education and learning process. Faculty
and administrators are accessible and available to provide guidance,
encouragement and intellectual challenge to students throughout the
admissions process, the academic program, and after graduation.
Students are challenged to perform at the highest levels of academic
excellence, acquire leadership skills, and achieve their personal
and professional goals.
The Program encompasses a blend of students from differing degree
backgrounds, cultural heritage, and regional perspectives.
International students in particular find the campus atmosphere
conducive to a healthy and supportive learning environment.
Admission to the Auburn MBA Program is via a competitive review of
all applicants and application files for a specific Fall Semester
(only) entry. Applications are reviewed with consideration and
weighting of: GMAT score; overall undergraduate
GPA/degree/institution attended; resume/leadership accomplishments
and full-time work experience; recommendations; and essays [in this
order]. A personal interview is required as an integral part of the
application processing. Telephone interviews are acceptable for
international students or students who are unable to travel to the
Auburn, Alabama campus.
Priority Application Deadline is March 1 each year.
A limited number of Graduate Research Assistantships can be awarded
on the basis of previous academic accomplishments including an
over-600 GMAT score. Other students can be considered for GRA jobs
after completion of the first semester. Tuition waiver plus monthly
